Located in the picturesque setting of Sassafras, our Engraved Artistry workshop offers a unique opportunity for individuals and small groups (up to six participants) of all ages to delve into the world of laser cutting and jewellery design. Using the Emblaser 2 laser and LightBurn software, participants transform their creative visions into tangible art pieces in a supportive and engaging environment. Laser Cutting Mastery: Participants learn to operate the Emblaser 2 laser cutter and navigate the LightBurn program, transforming original drawings into intricate wooden pieces. Diverse Crafting Options: Beyond jewellery, younger children can see their drawings turn into fun puzzles or games, catering to different interests and skill levels. From Concept to Market: Participants are given the opportunity to further work with their creations by turning them into earrings, necklaces, art pieces, or marketable products such as puzzles and games. This includes using a combination of the lasered piece, resin, and various artistic materials. Educational Benefits: Technical Skills Development: Gain hands-on experience with advanced laser cutting technology and software, enhancing both digital and manual craftsmanship skills.
